Event: All Hands Meeting 2023
Has been finalized

The 9th ELIXIR All Hands meeting will take place 5-8 June 2023 in Dublin, Ireland. The meeting brings together members of the ELIXIR community from across the ELIXIR Nodes, and collaborators from partner organisations, in order to review ELIXIR’s achievements and activities so far and discuss plans for the future. The All Hands meeting is also the venue for the ELIXIR-CONVERGE Annual General Assembly Meeting.

The meeting is going to be a face-to-face meeting with the programme focussed on those attending in person. There will be remote access to workshops of the meeting, and limited access to the rest of the programme, this will be confirmed closer to the event.

The programme is being finalised and this website will be updated as soon as we know the structure of the days.

Hybrid or Streaming?

For this year's ELIXIR All Hands Meeting there will be a number of different ways to participate in the various meetings. This is to clarify what to expect on each occasion.

  • Plenary Talks and Mini-symposiums will be streamed

  • Workshops will be hybrid meetings

Streaming
A presenter delivering content to an audience both in the room and remote attendees (joining through Eventscase). Those joining remotely will be able to follow the presentation and access the slide deck but not actively participate. Any questions for the speaker will be limited to those in the room.

Hybrid

A more open meeting that can include presentations, panel discussions, training opportunities or question & answer sessions. Attendees both in the room and remote (via Zoom).
The aim is for all attendees to have as full experience of the meeting as possible.

  • See slide deck (screenshare)

  • See presenter (if technology allows)

  • Remote presentation

  • Remote participation in any discussions (Both to raise questions and to respond.)

  • Receive and contribute to text discussions (chat, slack channel, slido etc)

Support will be available for the Chair to ensure that everyone is able to participate fully.
