Guidance for preparing workshops

Please use the appropriate document in the Agenda folder to build the agenda for your workshop. 
The workshops will run as hybrid events with remote attendees able to participate to the same degree as those in the room, via Zoom (details available shortly). 


Sli.do will be available to manage any questions or comments. Technical support will also be available.
There will be five parallel sessions of five workshops. You should anticipate around 80-100 participants in person with a number joining remotely.

Speaker information for Posters

​Guidance for preparing posters:

The poster size should all be vertical (portrait) size A0
Printed on paper or linen

Recommended fonts:

  • Title: Open Sans, bold, size 72

  • Subtitle: Open Sans, semi bold, size 60

  • Text: Open Sans, regular, size 36

A poster Template is available but not compulsory

Posters will be reviewed for scientific content and poster design by the ELIXIR Poster Reviewing Committee Prizes awarded for:

  • Best poster

  • Best poster presented by a student / new researcher

All documents, slides and posters related to the All Hands meeting can be published on the ELIXIR F1000Res Gateway All Hands event area
